Ken Root Real Estate Office opened in August 2006, by Ken Root. Ken began selling Real Estate at Killington Valley Real Estate in 1998. Went to Century 21 Contemporary Associates in 2001 and obtained his Principal Brokers License in August 2006.

Ken came to Killington for the winter of 1972 & is still here. Ken has started, operated and sold several businesses in the Killington/Rutland Area during that time. He is the father of 4 children age 21 - 13, 2 boys and 2 girls, who have attended schools in both Killington and Woodstock. He has been elected several times to town offices & served as past president of the Sherburne Volunteer Fire Department; currently serving as Justice of the Peace. Additionally, Ken owns and operates Root's Ski and Snowboard Rental shop on the Killington Road. An avid skier and golfer he resides in Killington, where he can enjoy both activities with ease.
